Delete your account

In Songbestie

1. Open Songbestie and go to Profile.
2. Tap ☰, then Settings.
3. Tap your name at the top.
4. Tap Delete my account, then Delete.

The account is deleted straight away.

Without the app

Write to support@songbestie.com from the e-mail address of the Apple ID or Google account you signed in with, and tell us your username. We delete the account and answer you within one month at the latest.

What is deleted

Your account, profile, photo, Top 10, honourable mentions, Descriptions, Self notes, changes log, Stuck-on history, posts, comments, likes, saves, votes, guesses, birthday, follows, friends, push tokens and notification history.

What stays

• The messages you sent stay in the other people's chats, no longer linked to you.
• Your votes leave the album rankings; a release-week ranking that was already frozen keeps its totals.
• Private clubs you created stay for their other members.
• Reports you made stay, no longer linked to you.
• Your username is retired and never given to anyone else.

Apple and Google

Signing in with Apple or Google leaves a link to Songbestie in your Apple ID or Google account. You can remove it there: on an iPhone, Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple; for Google, myaccount.google.com → Security → Third-party connections.
